CONCACAF nations ranked seventh through 35th will compete to determine which nation meets the No. 4 team in the hex in a home-and-home playoff for the right to meet a nation from another region in a home-and-home playoff for a World Cup berth. CONCACAF has opened the Gold Cup Station in the Union Station’s Great Hall until Sunday. Brian McBride, 2002 CONCACAF Gold Cup MVP, was at the Gold Cup Station’s launch signing autographs, best soccer jerseys taking pictures with fans and even participated in the interactive challenges. The fan zone will allow fans to test their skills with a soccer reflex game, radar gun speed kick challenge, soccer outfits soccer billiards and a Toyota gaming station.
